Privacy notice
What is public
Approved startup names, descriptions, websites, sector, stage, founding year and home location are public. Lifetime paid amounts are displayed to make sponsored rankings transparent. Founder email addresses and management credentials are not included in public profiles.
Submissions and enquiries
The operator stores your submitted founder email for review and account support. Enquiries contain the sender’s name, email and message and are shared with the founder receiving the enquiry. Do not submit sensitive information in messages.
Payments
Razorpay handles payment details. Startup Planet stores provider order and payment identifiers, amounts, status and placement dates. Card details are not stored on this site. Razorpay’s own privacy terms apply to its checkout.
Activity reporting
The site reports profile views and outgoing website clicks. Known bots are excluded. A daily salted hash of request information helps deduplicate activity; raw IP addresses are not stored by the application. Hosting and payment providers may maintain their own operational logs.
On your device
Saved startups and theme preferences use browser local storage. Your private founder access key uses session storage for the active tab session. No advertising cookies are set by the application.
Retention and requests
Activity reporting covers the most recent 90 days. The operator periodically removes expired analytics and rate-limit records. Listings and enquiries are retained while needed to provide the service; payment records are retained as required for accounting and dispute handling. You can contact the operator to request correction, removal or access to your submitted personal data.
Website statistics
Public site statistics contain only totals. Website views are deduplicated using a temporary random tab identifier and a daily salted visitor hash. Raw IP addresses are not stored. This collection uses no cookies and skips bots, Do Not Track requests and private pages. Daily view records are removed after 90 days; aggregate totals remain.
